Must admit I have not heard of it, but the lyrics are a lot cleverer than most of today's stuff. For a true classic, one which will not leave your head once you have heard it, go here: www.nfsa.gov.au/whats_on/soundsofaustralia/2008.htmlJust scroll down to the fourth one, and play "The Aeroplane Jelly Song" MikeW

I remember that duo very well from the days I was in primary (grammar) school during the early 1960s. Calling themselves the Blue Diamonds, these Dutch brothers named Ruud and Riem de Wolff (born in 1941 and 1943 on West-Java, then part of what was then the Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia) played mainly covers of the Everly Brothers. They were quite successful, not only in the Netherlands but also elsewhere in Europe. Their greatest hit (1960) was their interpretation of the 1927 song "Ramona".
Cheers, Maarten
