Hi,
Many of our files are packaged using the Clickteam Installer. Here's how to use it:
1. Read the Welcome screen to make sure this is the correct installation file. Click Next
2. If an Information window comes up, read it carefully. It often contains information you will need to complete the installation - other files you need to install, etc. If an Information window came up and you have read it, Click Next
3. If an Information window did not appear (or you have read it and moved on), then the License page should come up. Read it carefully, making sure that you agree with the terms of this freeware. If so, click on the radio button saying "I agree with the above terms and conditions", then click Next. If you do not check this radio button, you can not continue.
4. OK, here is the tricky part. Now you will need to tell the installer where to install the files to. First read the sentences above the path box. If it tells you where the files should be installed to, then is the path listed in the box that location? Normally you will install the files to the main FS2004 folder, or to the FS2004/Aircraft folder, but that can vary with the type of package you are installing.
5. If the path box is NOT pointing to the correct location, press the ... button and browse to the correct folder. Click it once. Then click OK.
6. If you are not sure where this installer should be pointed (and it's not already pointing to your main FS2004 folder), then perhaps you should install it (at least first) into a temporary folder, to see what's going on. To do this press the ... button, browse to where you want the Temp folder to be, and press the Make New Folder button. Name it Temp, and point the installation to go there instead.
7. Click Next
8. Now read the Confirmation screen carefully. Is it telling you the files will be installed to the correct folder? If not, click Back. If everything is OK, click Start.
9. If there is a button on the next screen with the name of a text or HTML file on it, click it to read about how to continue the installation. Follow those instructions. If not, click Next.
10. Click Exit and you are done.
Hope this helps,
