FSX first, then perhaps an FS9 version, at least that's how Manfred made his C-47.

Yes that's how the project is mapped out - even though I do not know how to back-port gauges and animations to FS9 status. Perhaps it's just going to be a DIY kit in that and other areas, such as the 2D.
Aircon - is that air conditioning? If so, in the real thing, just right of the cental overhead panel there is a line of switches marked HEATING SYSTEM, a switch identified as TEMP CONTROL: Auto and Manual, and an AUTO TEMP knob. I don't think these need to be implemented in the sim ... I am taking some poetic licence in the layout of the overhead panels anyway.
GPS - good idea, but here, too, it will have to be a DIY thing at best. Personally I prefer FS Navigator or the FSX equivalent.

Thanks Manfred, yes it's air conditioning, I was just wondering if it's installed/included it on the real thing along with those modern gauges.

Just to get back to page 1 ... Here is a view of our control panel monitoring current FSX events. The port fuel dump has just been opened and there it goes polluting the environment... Meanwhile around 90% of the switches on the overhead panel (see previous pic) have been implemented. Yes we are working full steam on it and are nearing completion in the not too distant F.

This Polair Tri Turbo DC-3 (of Santa Barbara) was powered by three Pratt & Whitney PT6A-45A turbo prop engines and used five bladed Hartzell propellers. The Aircraft made it's first flight on 2nd November 1977 and in 1979 it attended the Paris Airshow.

Another screenshot of the interior. A week ago, Daniel was invited to visit "Polar 5" in her Bremerhaven hangar and came back with 500+ photos and a video. We are trying to work in as much detail as we can, and there is lots, such as the prominent original checklist clipboard that you can see here, which clicks back into a side pocket when not in use. Opening the standard kneeboard checklist side-by-side you can see how close (or not) we have come to the original procedures. Note that Polar 5 uses a Kenn Borek checklist and that the aircraft is identified as a DC3T. In the upper corner you can see the beginnings of a GPS. Don't anyone say we are not acting on suggestions. Stay with us ...
