I was wondering, does the goniometer work for you in the SM.73 for FSX? I am getting an aural Ident from the ADF station but no visual indication left or right of the nose. It worked in FS9 but for me, but it does not seem to work in FSX (SP2, Acceleration). Everything else works in the SM.73 and I will really enjoy these missions with or without the goniometer.

Hi, Nice! I would also get rid of those modern runway markings at Asmara too, unless by "tarmac" you mean "runway".

Right, am taking out everything modern in that airport.....yes, the long runway you see on the front of the pic is going out and I´ll check that the runway markings also go, thanks for the tip.

Just a little update.....
Finished the Route Map and Flight Plan, the last is a detailed "printed" stop by stop showing the bearings distance and time from one station to the other. Users will have to study it carefully and fly using their compass, compensating for wind and just keeping eyes opened for pilotage clues. No Gps nor a .PL file in this 1936 flight...
The manual I will finish this week, covering some history, a few photos of the time, detailed route analysis, the stops and a Musical talkie in Wav format.
Target date should be for the last weekend of March...

Hi Pilotos..... Last night I finished the last airfield I had to add to the kit and due to the late hour (the hour when the owl starts his chat!) I did not try the bundle. I will this weekend with one of our fellow pilot to find any bugs in the Flight....Still undecided if in FSX it should be a Mission or a Flight, we´ll see. If anyone knows some FS9, buildings, houses, or airport objects that work in both FS9 and FSX, I would appreciate you let me know since I still want to "enhanse" some airfields....See you Gents! Gera

AFAIK, all FS9 library objects work OK in FSX.
Hope this helps,

Hi, AFAIK, all FS9 library objects work OK in FSX. Hope this helps, I wish they did but quite many do not.....I have checked many of them and you do not see the object in FSX, so placing these is tenuos at best. Anyway it will be fine in FSX and ok in FS9. The way about making a .bgl in FSX is different than how its done for FS9, even though some do work (?).....

If you use 3rd party library objects, these virtually all show up. If you mean the objects that come with FSX, then this is indeed a problem.

Sorry to say Tom but I have downloaded a bunch of freeware object files and they mostly do not work...I can't see them to place them and even after doing so and activating the files they don't show ....anyway I did find some with hangars that fit the Scenery and do show and I have used those...but like I said this is mainly for FSX users......I am always thinking of setting up FS9 in my client PC and someday I'll do it then and all will be fine....

Tonight I will send a link to those that are willing to give the flight a try before I upload it, specially the FS9 pilots... Have desided to have it both ways: a Flight so FS9 pilots can enjoy it and a Mission for those in FSX since I can add some music during the flight as well as some conversation...hope it will enjoyed. This means it will take a little longer since I think the flight is finished, I still have some cleaning to do in some airfields but that will be quick.... By the way, I got distracted over the weekend for I was checking some Air France flights of the 30´s to Indochina via India. Quite an adventure which I might tangle in the near future....the Dewoite used is available freeware in both FS9 and FSX which makes it more juicy.. ;D If you like to follow up on airliners paths over the 24 hours I suggest you take a look at www.flightradar24.com you will find it quite nice. I being Italian and all, for old time's sake (though these were not really nice old times, under Baldy's regime... just a mite worse than Bunga-bunga-creepy-old-jeezer's regime finished [we hope for good] some months ago), I'm waiting for this packages myself, for both my cozy FS9 and even for the kids' FSX installation I'm considering to impound for a while... might just make the flight two times to compare notes between the two version of FS. ;D

The flight is FSX native so it should be a better experience on that sim....(Essendo mezzo italiano mi fa piacere un italiano lo proveranno )
