It's a Canon AE-1, bought for 50 bugs on ebay. ;D And what I like the most about it: it's as old as me!

;DI read you loud and clear on the chop sticks. I spent seven years in Tokyo and never did master the art of eating with those things. My fingers just would not cooperate.

While I'm not all that good, I did manage to get the hang of chop sticks. I stopped in Japan a few years back and had kobe beef and lobster. I was pretty happy when some of the other guys in our group asked for forks and I kept plugging away with the chop sticks.

I can relate to the chopsticks/spoon situation.
Years ago, I had a weekend layover and went to a Chinese restaurant with a friend of mine in the same situation. When they brought the food -- which we had agreed to share -- Ray asked for a spoon.
The waiter was shocked. "But... but.... but all the pilots use chopsticks!"
Ray was determined. "This pilot doesn't!"
Ray got his spoon and, for the first time, I didn't get my share of the Singapore Noodles.
Live and learn.....
Cheers,
Glenn

How do you eat noodles with a spoon, and why didn't you get any?

I didn't know Singapore Noodles was a soup? You don't eat soup with chopsticks... (yes, I know you can slurp it right from the bowl, with the help of chopsticks, but it wasn't clear above that's what the situation was).
