I was using AI Smooth from time to time when ai spotting, there were times when it had traffic stacked for over an hour before it released them for landing, not good over a busy airport. I read of AI Separation, so I tried that instead, well what a difference it made, it does separate to stop the go-arounds but to my mind it is far Superior to AI smooth, in fact it is a lot smoother if you pardon the pun.

Hello Wolfgang,
Yes it's good, I was using AI Smooth yesterday and after about 1hr.30 mins FS crashed, it has never crashed before and the only thing I had running was this, but I have never run it for so long and I think that was what caused the error. It had that many aircraft going round in a stack I think it was too much for the sim to handle, any way I uninstalled it and loaded AI Separation I had a few jobs to do so I kept the sim running since this morning and it is still fine after about 9 hours.

I don't normally use either of them, but I had the same problem with AI Smooth you did - the planes stacked up and were circling seemingly forever.
