I've installed practically all the scenery and all the ai aircraft, booted up FS and no classic stuff, just the orbits and world travel etc. I looked in the Scenery/World folder but only 1 traffic bgl, shouldn't that be 030528.bgl.bak or something and a new traffic bgl be the current one? Col.

Not sure if I've done something right, I renamed the traffic.bgl to traffic.bak, then I noticed the traffic slider was almost at zero so I moved it to around 55% now I've got some Classic aircraft, but not many. I'll up the slider a bit more and see what happens, I have TTools but it isn't showing any other traffic bgl by the way.

Hi Colin! Have you installed the latest AI package? Its installation has changed from what was before! Did you add the 3 AI Propliner traffic on the Addon Scenery to your Scenery Library? You should find on your Addon Scenery the following folders: CalClassic Traffic 1962 CalClassic Traffic 1959 CalClassic Traffic 1957 You'll need to add them and activate only 1. Soft landings!

Hi Rav, Yes, I did that and now I have them flying, I was looking at the old way of doing it, that's what got me puzzled. I deleted all the default aircraft too, no point in having them cluttering up the folder. I moved the traffic slider up as well and sure enough I have more traffic, thanks mate. Col.

If you need the default aircraft and cannot get them back, you can always load in one of the FS CD's and pull them off of that. Be sure to also get the MATS AI traffic..it's not too hard on framerates and some neat stuff to see

Col, you need to kick that traffic slider up to 100%. Then the skies will be loaded with all sorts of birds. Also, check your ADDON Scenery folder to be sure that the traffic bgl you want is posted.

Thanks Beaver, I've got the default A/C in another folder but like you say if they go missing I could get them off the disk. Thank you Jesse, Yes, I did as you suggested and moved the slider up and I now have the birds in the sky. Funny, when I started looking at my disks that I had backed up my old FS stuff, there is loads of things I wonder why I kept, obviously some things I'm glad I did as well. I used to have a full version of FSUIPC, I'm sure I saved it on my back-up disks, I found a couple of copies of it on one disk but not the full version, I may come accross it yet, I've not finished going through them. I use a program called 'Traffic View Board' where you can follow the ai aircraft the whole journey if you wish, I had to have 'FSUIPC' installed to use it, I had to install a part version to enable it to work.
