Hi,
Due to a stupid error - and no backup - I lost my former two files, which sounded as here (very long movie while very long landing (!) but my sole sound document):
Does anyone knows where these files came from, or has anyone installed the same? Actually I use those of "aisound_1.01" but they are more suitable for Connies than DC's.
Thanks for any advice or help.

Could be DC3.wav or DC4.wav in the FS\Aircraft\Propsound folder? (same ones as in the PropSound2 and PropSound7 folders too)

Thanks for the tip, Tom. I renamed the dc4 files of Propsound folder. But the sound is too intense and and not roaring enough.

How about XDC4.wav or XDC3.wav?
Or how about a sound file from Diego Barreto's DC-6 package? Available from my Sound page.

I highly appreciate your help, Tom. Thanks again.
Finally I found it at Avsim: Category: Flight Simulator 2004 - Sounds AI Twinprop ZipDive! Download
File Description: AI twinprop sounds. A lot better than the default ones (in my opinion) Suited for DC-3/4/6/7, Connies and similar AI planes. A lot of wash and a throaty sound. Just slip into your FS9 sound folder (remember to backup)
Filename: xai_twinprop01.zip License: Freeware Added: 6th February 2005, 04:31:14 Downloads: 1776 Author: Hans Hermansson Size: 491kb
An oldie but goldie!
