Very Nice. In a similar vein, I found this: funstufftosee.com/airlineempires.htmlburied in an old bookmarks file and amazingly it still works! Its been a good number of years since it floated around the various aviation web sites. Hy

I just get a blank page when I click on the airlineempires link above. Tried from both my windows machince and IPad? Even tried to do it from a google search that got me to the same place but selecting that section gets me a blank screen

Now, today, it works. I have no idea as to why it wouldn't before, nor why it does today.

Tried it with Chrome and it works, just not with Windows 10 explorer or Edge or the iPad. Strange.

Thanks for the tip on MSN.com, nice photos! It's a pretty sad state of affairs when passengers in the U.S.S.R. on that Aeroflot Tu-104 in 1956 have it better than we do now.

That's true, but we also had it better in 1956 than we do now. I was meeting folks at the airport recently, and heard an announcement concluding with "have a pleasant flight" and thought that between TSA and the airlines, it's just about impossible. A flight, yes; a pleasant flight, not so much.
