That is one sharp L-1649. There is a reserved spot for this beauty in my hangar. Thanks for "The Spirit"

Rui, The very last thing I want to do is delay this wonderful repaint but if time allows can I mention that there is an emergency door on the right side rear, 24x48", immediately behind the last window. This shows it. www.airliners.net/photo/Untitled/Lockheed-L-1649A(F)-Starliner/1122802/L/&tbl=photo_info&photo_nr=4&sok=WHERE__(aircraft_%3D_'Lockheed_L-1649A(F)_Starliner')_&sort=_order_by_photo_id_DESC_&prev_id=1305557&next_id=1122801 There's also photos on airliners.net of a Luxair with this door and a TWA with a gap between the last window and "TWA" and although I know that airlines changed their paint schemes from time to time, maybe the last 2 windows should be slightly further forward? Use this only if you want to of course. I think a lot of people are keen to download it soon! Best regards Defender aka Bill Tyne

Hi, Wow, that looks great. My only comment would be that if it was that dirty, it has been in service for a while and would not have the N1649 registration still visible. Also changing that in the aircraft.cfg file will remove the wing pitot tube, which was used only during prototype testing. Finally, would you mind resizing those images to 800 pixels wide? It's one of the forum rules. Hope this helps,

sorry Tom, I did read the
# Section 3: Images, Signatures and Advertising
but as I saw no restrictions to image sizing,...and considering I have a large monitor, and a bigger image is always better for detail and sharpness, I went ahead and saved these as 1024x768....sorry for this. images have been deleted.

Hi Rui,
Due to some updating issues, that rule got excised accidentally. It's back now. No need to delete the images, just use 800 next time - thanks.
