Hornit,
Thanks for the link. The opening page with your screenshot is amazing.

I think we may have a winner here. Seems only fitting that a project that really developed out of this website (well, Manfred's work but a lot of input from everybody here) should adorn the main page. By the way, are those Frank or Rui's textures ?
Regards, Phil

It looks good. Now if I/we can make that in to a Splash Screen for FS that would be great. Col - The default one is named dlgsplash.bmp and lives in the Flight Simulator 9\Uires folder. So if you create one named Col_dlgslplash.bmp with the same or similar properties, just rename the default one to origdlgsplash.bmp to back it up and then put yours in the Uires folder and rename it to dlgsplash.bmp Cheers MikeW

Sorry guys - I don't share in the Connie Love affair. The Cabin is cramped and it really ungainly looking on the ground. Flew on an 049 from Wichita to Kansas City once (TWA).
Nice shot, though. Not trying to start a war, but I prefer the Douglas family. Different strokes etc. etc. ;D

Living in Sacramento, all we saw were UAL Dougs, which became my favorite too.

This is my current splash. I don't know how Stuart Green got the seaweed-and-barnacle smell into his Sunderland, but I swear it's there ! MikeW

The textures are Franks, and I have tweaked them ever so slightly cleaning them up a bit here and there and making them 32 bit. He has done a great job with this paint!

Thanks emfrat, I did know how to change the splash-screen, but I was thinking more on the lines of having the wording different, but I see on your above post of the seaplane you did your own, I might try that. I like your splash by the way.

Cheers Col - I was pretty well certain that you would know, but I was just as sure that quite a few folk might not. I only found out by accident meself, when one version was deleted as a duplicate, and FS9 complained about not being able to find it - something of a Eureka moment All the best MikeW

Hi,
I use Splash Screen Randomizer, that puts up a different splash screen each time (from all those I've collected and created).
