Hi,
just to say, that Rio de la Plata (Part II) for FS91 project, it's not stopped. Project was in pause for a long time, but, work is slowly restarting again, I hope, we can release it, last months of 2018, or first months of 2019.
The idea, is to make SABE (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery), the seaplane SABE dock, and some kind of "Buenos Aires and dock, riverside scenery".
Harry Biard, already made the main terminal of SABE, i am working on AFCAD, and i will do (before the end of this year), the seaplane SABE "terminal", and i hope start some installation on Buenos Aires docks.
Project, will be exclusively an FS91 release it, i abandon the idea (for the moment), to make an P3DV4 version.
The idea is continue with "Part III" (Montevideo Carrasco Airport), some day, but for this Part III, is to early to talking about...
Cheers
Alejandro
PS: Soon some pictures of WIP

I find it really cool when people give some love to marine terminals. I know flying boats were going out of style at the time, but I still like flying them to wherever I can. So thanks for that.

As i use, 30% FS91 and 70% P3DV4, for my flights, i prefer to continue expanding CC FS91 sceneries, this will be projects that i will do in parallel with my big P3DV4 RA1960 project. I'm Happy that other people here in our CC World will enjoy all this scenerys . I'm feel also less alone, when i talk "FS91" here, that when i talk "P3DV4" So the idea: Starting, with SABE & Buenos Aires dock downtown area, and around SABE airport (to complete Rio de la Plata Part II), and following, (i hope), with others airports for FS91. The problem, for argentinian a uruguayan airports/airfields, is to found enough information. For SABE, SAEZ, and SUMU, it's almost OK, i have all i need more or less, but for all the other little airfields/airports, beetween thems, is more complicated. I will do heavy use, of the last CC Library the 4.0A (and i hope to contribute with some models also, for future versions). When i have pictures, and information, and when is important, i will make "custom historical buildings", in the other case (and probably to "backdate" all the little airfields, airports, remain on Buenos Aires at the 60s and Uruguay river coast, i will, use generic building from CC Library. For this project, i will have the great help, of Harry Biard and Jaap the Baare. They already made a lot of buildings, objects, for RDP Project (SAEz). Please, if you got some pictures/information, of Argentina and Uruguay, and Brazil (up to Porto Alegre), airports/airfields, from the sixties, please, share with me, here in the forum, that can always help. Cheers Alejandro

Hi Alejandro I have uploaded lots of vintage photos of various South American airports to my Flickr page and created albums for them. There may be some shots there which may be of help with the project and save you some time searching. Link to the page: www.flickr.com/photos/12530375@N08/Like everyone else very much looking forward to the final result. John

More precisions:
Rio de la plata (Part II) for FS91
SABE "Aeroparque Jorge Newbery" SABE Seaplane dock Buenos Aires Harbor
Rio de la Plata (Part III) for FS91
SUCA Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay), Airport, and (ARCO) traffic Montevideo Harbor Isla de las ratas (Seaplanes Armada Uruguay) (montevideo) SUMU Montevideo Carrasco SULS Base Naval 2 (Capitan Curbelo) "Laguna del Sauce" (Punta del Este URUGUAY) Seaplanes dock and trafick (Mariner), for Base Naval 2

In this picture, you can see a method, that i will use on RDP Part II for FS91 It's not the best way to do that, if you want to do, an airport, that look nice on P3DV4 (the land), but for FS91, i think is a quick way to make "geomodif", with good quality, without spend a lot of time on this part. The idea, i create landclass water under the area (with Sbuilder FS9), and draw the land, roads with ADE at same time than the runway, tarmac, etc. In this case, the Buenos Aires Harbor and Buenos Aires riverside area PS: is not finished at all, is only to show you the general idea Attachments:

Cheers. SUCA Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay), Airport, and (ARCO) traffic Will be included also in "Part II", not "Part III" The main idea, of Part II, is complete the main part of "Rio de la Plata area" to give you, a little place in the world to make "short flight" beetween Ezeiza, Aeroparque, and Colonia (Uruguay), in aircrafts, and seaplanes

I'm looking forward to it! I spent a tour down in that area once. Now, just for the memories, I like to fly in the sim from Uragay to Paraguay (Ciudad al Este y Asuncion) and then over the Andes to Chile on occasion.
