Sabena flight SN 601 is a Convair 440 Metropolitan on an early March morning flight from Antwerp Deurne to London Heathrow Central (as it was known then) (EBAW – EGLL). We have 400 gallons of fuel on board for the 184 nm flight. We will have moderate cloud cover for the entire flight. Our cruising altitude will be 10,000 feet.
