Another Convairliner relegated to spare parts status

Another CV-440 going to the spare parts bin. N41527, formerly owned and operated by Miami Air Lease, has been sold to Conquest Air Cargo. This aircraft will be used as a source of spare parts for their 3 remaining C-131's.

It’s amazing they are still flying after all this time, even with some losses. May they long continue.

Conquest Air Cargo is the largest operator of piston powered Convairliners. They have added a YS-11 to their fleet. From what I understand, they are looking to turboprop aircraft for their future operations.
