A play on words. The DC-4s were leased.

And of course "last but not leased". Is this or will this paint be available ? It's fantastic. Especially for some from the Northeast like myself. Mike

Thanks Gary. Just did a LGA to BOS and on to PWM. Actually did a couple of Portland to Boston flights in a NE DC-4 waaaaay back in 1966.

Your trip in 1966 was a DC-6B unless it was virtual. Anyway thanks for downloading and Merry Christmas.

I stand corrected. I do recall seeing other DC-6s parked. Remember it was exciting as heck because PWM was a pretty small airport back then and the 4 engined birds really dwarfed the small terminal. Back when I was taking flying lessons, I taxied out and held behind a DC-6 while doing a x country (me not the Douglas). Mike

1946-49. IDL-BOS-IDL shuttle. DC-4s were replaced by Convair 240s

Thanks Gary. I had looked at the early to mid 50s schedules and of course didn’t see any mention of DC-4s
