Seasonal greetings form the top of Germany

The "Zugspitze" in Southern Bavaria (above Garmisch-Partenkirchen) is the highest mountain in Germany. A small addon depicts the "Münchner Haus", an alpin hut managed by the same family since 1925. It's the highest house of Germany as well. 




Even with FS9 the western view from there is tremendous. In real life and by very clear weather you should easily see Munich and even further.

Aha yes, die Zugspitze. Hiked up there a few times in my younger days. As you say, great view. One time at the top, a few Starfighters screamed past making a lot of noise and smoke. It disturbed the whole peacefulness of the place. Quite a sight though.

First climbed in 1820, it’s right on the Austrian border. A web search yields wonderful comments on the view and the resort.
