But you'll need to advance your time to January 1958 when they introduced their Round the World service, unless you want to use a BOAC DC-7C SFO-IDL-LON before that. Or you can fly the inaugural Operation Goodwill flight, leaving Sydney on December 20, 1957. www.wingnet.org/rtw/RTW004U.HTMBTW, the schedule of the commercial service is also available online (June 1958): www.timetableimages.com/ttimages/complete/qf58/qf58-03.jpgI love the Eastabout and Westabout, very Australian. And BA 581/582 were being flown with DC-7Cs in March 1958 (in my OAG), so Britannias were introduced between March and June 1958.

Outstanding! Or perhaps out standing in the fog... I have really enjoyed your adventures with Connie across both oceans and really hope that you're not done yet. Thank you for including us in your flights. Wholeheartedly I second that!
Cheers, Erik

Thank you gentlemen. I don't think I can resist the Round the World and will start again in Sydney, having learnt things about Honolulu and San Francisco which will come in very useful. Southern Aurora (CN 4979) is available in a paint by Tim Scharnhop, but I see from Tripletails that Frank Gonzalez did paints of Qantas Super Gs from 1956 and 1957. Are these available please Tom? I shall not start immediately because first I want to beta test Jorge's radio gauge, which looks exciting. Correction - the Round the World flights apparently began in Melbourne.
