Really nice paintjob on this one Gary! What time-period did Pacific Northern Airliners use the Dc-4? Downloaded, and wondering to try the paint in C-54/DC-4 JBK3 Ops Procedures.. I did find a picture on the web dated ca 1956 Regards Dag (daypharris)

Not a big deal but a larger image shows the N number as N41341. Thanks for downloading!

Yes, that is the correct N-number for my history above (and the number you painted on the tail). They had at least one other DC-4, N3934C, c/n 27243, which PNA owned from 1951 through 1962.

Be sure you update the new air file for the DC-4, otherwise you may not have any wing/structural de-icing. Just flicking a switch does not operate the de-icing equipment, only the air file can do that and the old air file had wing-deicing set to "off".
I found that out when flying the 1960's "ops procedure" DC-4. Not long after encountering icing conditions, it fell from the sky despite having all the anti ice switches in the "on" position. That has now been corrected.
