If I recall correctly, this was among the best of the free-ware big turboprops for FS9 and ports fairly well into FSX.

Great shots of a nice airplane indeed. I'm always wondering why with FSX northern areas, that normally would be extensively greened, look like as they are somewhere in Southern Spain during a hot summer Bernard

With it being winter time, at least in the northern hemisphere, I usually do all my flights by changing the season\month to October in order to display the ground textures, especially trees, with more color.
Yes Bernard, FSX does not do such a good job displaying the realistic ground textures. Flying for example, in the New Zealand north island, it would appear that it is almost desert like, which I would think is not the case.
