I know I asked this once before in regards to the Connie, but the DC-4 and DC-6 were pretty close 'bird of the same feather' so I wondered.. is there a way to adapt the DC-6 fuel planner to work in the DC-4? Since I finally have the fuel planner working as intended for both the -240 and the -6B, I wondered about the DC-4.

The DC-4 Operations Update contains a Flight Planner for the DC-4. While that is complicated because of Civil vs Military versions, the data in that gauge could be used in a modified DC-6 gauge to create one for the regular JBK DC-4.
Even easier is to use the one already in the Operations Update, but only fly the 1960's version. That one is easy to fly and works much the same as the original JBK version. The 1950's and especially the 1940's versions are harder to fly.
Hope this helps,

downloaded, installed and flown...wonderful, awesome-sauce, excellent! I flew the 1960 version, but I will give the '40 and '50 versions a go someday, see how well I can handle those. I do like a challenge from time to time...lol...

Glad that worked for you. If you're interested, read the docs in the Tutorials and Documents folder,in the FS9/Aircraft/JBK DC4 Panel and Docs V3 OP folder. The details are in The Illustrated C-54 and DC-4 Mini Tutorial.htm file. Try flying a tight pattern, what fun.
