L749's Propeller Control subpanel popup regularly disappears when I accidentally click anywhere on the 2D FE panel screen, it doesn't come back by "touching" the click spot's It is difficult to "magic" that panel (part of the 2D FE panel) back.
My question is: Is there a possibility to open that panel permanently as soon as you switch from VC to the FE panel? It does not overlap (as the fuel panel does) further controls, so in that respect it is no problem.
The phenomenon occurs in FSX-SE but not in FS9.1.
Thank you in advance for your responses!
Best regards, Frank.

Edit: sorry, I think I originally misread your post.
You can force a subpanel to appear in all views by adding this line to the subpanel's WindowXX section:
type=special
Perhaps that may help? You would add this line to the Window07 section of the 749's panel.cfg file.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have tried this but it does not give the desired result. Changing "visible = 0" to "visible = 1" also doesn't work.
Best regards, Frank.

And that's the solution! This means that the panel no longer just disappears, but stays neatly where it belongs. I applied it right away for the other popups as well. It doesn't work in FS9.1, but there is no need for this modification.
Thank you very much for your ideas!
Best regards, Frank

Odd, Bill in that thread says that it does work in FS9. But you’re fixed up, that’s what’s important.
