John, Are you using the FSX versions of the panel.cfg files? They don’t have the slow engine start gauges which crash FSX. Possibly not! I just did a quick install to test. I will check this out again when I get a chance. family crisis in progress at the moment! John

To get the engines started, I included a procedure in the text file of the gauge update - it is:
1. Go to FE panel. 2. Make sure you have fuel in all 4 tanks. 3. Press Ctrl Shift F4 to turn on fuel supply. 4. Set Spark Control switch to Retard 5. Turn Engine Selector to desired engine. 6. Turn desired engine's Fuel Pump to Low or High 7. Click the Prime switch a couple of times. 8. Click the Start switch - throw it again if necessary until the engine starts.
I had to follow each and every step to get the engines to start.
