Hi all, Just noticed on Pete's web site that he has made the registration of FSUIPC for FS2004 free! (Technically he has posted the user info for a "free user"). Sorry if this is old news, I hadn't noticed this before. It is available here - scroll down to the FS2004 section. I believe you will need to re-install the FSUIPC package that you can download from this site (my older version did require that) and then enter the user information from the same site. www.fsuipc.com/Enjoy,

Thank you Tom for the heads up and thank you to Pete Dowson for allowing us still using FS9 and that are tight of budget to use the registered version.

Thanks for that Tom but I get an odd response when running the exe.
INSTALLATION FOR FS9: EXE Path="D:\Flight Simulator 9" Checking if there's already a version of FSUIPC installed in: D:\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\FSUIPC.DLL ... Version 3.999z found. Failed to place FSUIPC.DLL into folder as "D:\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\FSUIPC.DLL" Error 32 reported ("The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. ")
I've already got an unregistered 3.999z9b installed. There is nothing else running. Obviously not keen to try uninstalling the existing. Any suggestions? I'm W10.

Did you right click the installer and choose Run As Administrator as described in the text file?

Many thanks Tom and all good now. It installed after disabling the firewall for some reason and then later I downloaded again and this time it installed with firewall active.
I use administrator a lot as W10 seems to need that, without making security changes, for many programmes that just opened normally in XP.
