Hello! Apologizing for Google translate. It seems that some building is missing. FS2004, KAVX, CA59/62, all libraries are installed.

The only structures that I see on my copy are a quonset hut hangar behind your plane and a fuel tank ahead and to the left of your plane. We both have the floating man. I think that you are good to go at this airport.

Hi,
You are missing the terminal building. That building is found in the Core_Library.BGL file, in the Addon Scenery/CalClassic Core/scenery folder. Mine is dated 1/31/2017,and is 3,022 KB in size.
If all that is correct or says it is later than that (which means you have a version which was released after that date), then do you have your CalClassic Core scenery layer listed below the other classic sceneries in the Scenery Library listing? The CA59 and CA62 layers should be near the top, and the CalClassic Core layer near the bottom. My Scenery page has a suggested layering at the top of the page.
Hope this helps,

Many thanks! Reinstalling the California scenery helped. My Core_Library.BGL file was for some reason an old version. Now everything is wonderful, not only at the Catalina airport but also at other airports, where there were also not enough buildings and facilities. Thanks again!

Indeed my core_library.bgl is dated 11/13/2005. My core_library.txt is dated 8/19/2012. How did I get so messed up? Going to download the California scenery now and get the latest and greatest.

Hi,
After you mentioned that I suspected that some older scenery packages had included a copy of the Core Library file (which is an older version). Install those and you've overwritten your new Core Library File.
And I was right - the scenery packages that have this problem are:
ArkLaMiss Southwest 59 Southwest 62 Amon Carter Havana 62
I will see what I can do about this problem, but some are at other sites.

Yes, the date on my Amon Carter folder is Feb. 2018. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I think I have fixed the problem caused by the other sceneries. Note that this only applies to the scenery packages linked on my Scenery page, not to those already uploaded to flightsim and AVSIM.

Hi Tom Found I also had the the same old KAVX scenery and have now rectified it. Catalina looks wonderful now.
Do we now need to reinstall the scenery packages you mentioned above to bring them up to date?

Hi,
It appears that CA59/62 was updated at the same time as was File #2, so you might want to update that one. File #1 is two years older.

Hi Tom Do you mean the Custom Scenery File 1 and 2? If so, I have reinstalled them.
But do I need to reinstall the ArkLaMiss etc. packages?
Thanks John

Hi,
No, there is no reason to do so. But remember that if you ever do want to reinstall any of those listed above, download a new version from my site to avoid overwriting the Core Library again.
