I'm one of those simmers who collect tons of aircraft, probably a 100 types encompassing all eras. Anyway it's got of control. So now I'm systematically deleting my aircraft with the least flight time.
Now for the hard part, I deleted my L-1649.
(cringe) sorry....
But you see, although it is a great aircraft, it's not my favorite. That would be the L-49/L-749. Arguably the most beautiful aircraft ever built. Even though the 1649 was the culmination of the Constellation technology. It was higher, faster, farther, and most powerful.I prefer to be slightly slower, just to be a little happier. No offense to Manfred Jahn and Team. More deletions to come.

I prefer shorter hops to transocean/transcon flights, so I tend to go for the smaller planes too. But there were times when even a TWA Starliner flew some short hops, so I have kept mine. Perhaps instead of deleting them you could do what I do - move them into a Removed folder, for safekeeping.

I keep a folder named 'plane reserve' just for that purpose. Also decreases loading time for FSX to unload all those planes.
