Another little Star is entering the fantastic freeware world of flight simulation in FS2004. The three base packs for the new Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded are now on their way to flightsim.com and AVSIM.com Contrary to our first announcement we changed the install routine for panel & sound. We abandoned the conception of a separated VBF base pack for this subject. (previous announcement see here: calclassic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=3094&page=1 ) For all Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded variants you now only have to install the original Calclassic's Convair "FS2004/FS2002/FSX American Air Lines CV-240 CA-18 Base Pack" on your system once (unless you already have done this before). This base pack also installs panel and sound used by the Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded. You can get it directly from the Calclassic’s Convair website www.calclassic.com/convair.htmYou will find this information and even more in the User Manual included in each of the three base packs. You should read it. More liveries will follow step by step. So enjoy this nice little lady in her new outfit. Always happy landings

I hope you did not forget about those of us who are AVSIM challenged and have uploaded the files to Flightsim.com as well.
If not please consider doing so, thanks.

Hi,
GREAT JOB!~ Wonderful on all counts. There was a typo in the aircraft.cfg entry for the Western Airlines paint that didn't have the correct name for the ref.htm. ..but that's the only bug I've found! ;D
I also love the modifications to ground handling and taxiiing. I have no way to know what the real thing is like, but actually having to put some power in to overcome inertia gives a real feel for the ramp weight of the plane. ;D
