Finnair 1955 OH-LCA CN/9799 built as a C47A-65-DL. Aircraft was lost in a crash on 1-8-1963 in Mariehamn with 22 fatalities. \ Finnair 1960 OH-LCD, CN/19309 built as a C47A-75-DL for USAF serial #42-100846. Six C47/R4D-5 were used in Operation High Jump, circa 1946-1947. Real aircraft were equipped with skies for the mission. A very interesting read on the history. A short recap from the web: Operation High Jump, officially titled The United States Navy Antarctic Developments Program, 1946-1947, was a United States Navy operation organized by RADM Richard E. Byrd Jr. USN, (Ret), Officer in Charge, Task Force 68, and led by RADM Richard H. Cruzen, USN, Commanding Officer, Task Force 68. Operation Highjump commenced 26 August 1946 and ended in late February 1947, six months earlier than planned due to an early onset of the Antarctica winter. Task Force 68 included 4,700 men, 13 ships, and multiple aircraft. The primary mission of Operation Highjump was to establish the Antarctic research base Little America IV. C47 TWA Sky Freighter circa 1945-1953. CN/25234 was built as a C47A-30-DK. All re-paints are for the Fs9 version. Enjoy. Frank

Hi Frank,
I could recognize your work in the dark. They look great as usual. Tried the link to Media Fire but got a private file message. Any suggestions on how to D/L appreciated.
Cheers Hank

Hi, you have painted really wonderful C-47´s! I like them all, great work at your website too. Especially the "what if paint" of the Comet in Lufthansa colors. But I have a little problem, I didn´t found any download button there so I cannot enjoy all these great work. Best regards, Arne
