I am not at my computer at the moment but when Ken and I where developing this scenery we ran into a problem we’re it was crashing FS9. It turned out to be one of those SBuilder type files from the original scenery that you are instructed to remove in the installation process. I never new what that particular file was doing (or where it was doing it) but perhaps it was related to what you are seeing.

Thanks for the quick reactions so far, gents.
To start with Al's remark: _CYYR_Proper2_VTPL.BGL adds all the roads on and around CYYR. I have it active and did not run into problems with it so far, but if I do I will know where to look.
Jorge, indeed that is the sort of thing that is going on. It could be this is due to my setup but the still great LWMViewer 2 by Jim Keir shows no other addons active in this area on my system; just defaults and the Goose Bay addon. I have the layering set correctly as far as I can determine. What I think is going on probably has to do with fs9 having land or water by default in the affected LOD squares. As you likely know, one has to approach those two options in different ways in order to have land or water where desired.
Ken's answer put into the equation, I suspect it may just be small glitches in the Flight Ontario package. That does not subtract anything from its value and it may even have to do with it having been developed for Ultimate Terrain, which I don't have. They specifically stated this in their information. I will be happy to delve into it somewhat, it's a nice puzzle and it would be satisfying to me to solve it, perhaps learning some new things on the way.
To be continued then, cheers,
Erik

Many thanks, Erik, though I will just confirm and stress what Al has said about one of the Flight Ontario files causing CTDS. It happened repeatedly on three test systems until Al tracked down the culprit, and was far from being a minor matter. I do have Ultimate Terrain, by the way. I look forward to seeing whether you can do anything about it. As I am out of my depth with this kind of thing, good luck, Ken
