How the heck do I add scenery layers and flightplans to AI files 1 to 8? I already know how to install the 1955,1957,1959 and 1962 but the MATS traffic didn’t show at all. So I need to know how to add AI flightplans and scenery layers in FSX.

Hi,
Files one through eight only contain airplanes, which should be installed into your main FSX folder. Then move all folders from the FSX/Aircraft folder to the FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes folder. No scenery layers needed.
The only scenery areas that need to be set up are the 1955, 1957, 1959, 1962, and MATS layers. The MATS layer adds the air bases, not the traffic which is in the first four layers by year.

Glad to help. Note that the AI aircraft flights in the FS2004 traffic file will be off by one day due to differences between the sims, but you can easily convert the traffic files (they are in the 4 years folders installed) using AI Flight Planner (Bulk Traffic/Convert FS9 Traffic files to FSX). Note that if you keep them in FS2004 format all FSX format traffic files will be disabled and will not appear.
