Shalom and greetings all my pals,
I have Eric Guzman Electra l188 along with many installed airline repaints for use of FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2.
I just finished installing today into that same plane amazing new repaints by Emmem also known as Manfred Meyer.
The installation of the new repaints was successful and those repaints are amazing crisp sharp and superb thanks to Emmem meaning the ground testing of those repaints have passed with flying colors.
However, when I re-examined aircraft.cfg to look at flight dynamics of the plane, the writings do not make sense to me such as total weights, fuel weight, etc etc.. Although I am not not expert in FDE or aircraft programming, it does not take genius to spot bizzarre writings in aircraft.cfg such as total weight is set to 119.000 which I think should be 119000 which causes the plane to be overweight by whopping 89,000 pounds even if the fuel tanks are empty.
Does anybody know OR can point me to correct aircraft.cfg and correct accompanying air. file for Eric Guzman l188 Electra for use of FSX, please for me to download and install so that I can have realistic flying dynamics and realistic fuel load and consumption rate, please? The model base and model files are fine and correct. Just need correct aircraft.cfg file and its accompanying air. file since both files work with each other.
Thank you for any assistance any of you might provide so that I can fly this particular model base using amazing repaints by Emmem (Manfred Meyer)
Regards,
Aharon

This is one of examples that does not make sense to me as it make the aircraft overweight by 87,000 pounds with gasoline or 64,000 pounds overweight with empty gas tanks
[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] max_gross_weight = 116.000 // (pounds) empty_weight = 61500 // 71500 // 61500 // (pounds)

In some languages they use 116.000 instead of 116,000. I would just remove all of the periods in such numbers.

And FSAviator flight dynamics for the Libardo Guzman L188 can be found in the L-188 Update file on my Electra page.

Thanks I will try this trick to see if it works.

I already saw that download but that is for FS9 (FS2004) and I am using FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2. There is even a warning in the notes section that it will crash in FSX. The aircraft.cfg and its air. file are for FS9 especially it says FS9l188.air file.
All I need is correct aircraft.cfg and its accompanying correct air. file for the use of FSX for Guzman l188 Electra, please.
Regards,
Aharon

I don't believe the AIR file and aircraft.cfg file will crash in FSX, only the panel, etc.

Tom,
Here are year 2015 Guzman aircraft.cfg in red and year 2011 FS Aviator aircraft.cfg in blue as seen below.
Shall I copy all weight info from year 2011 to year 2015 or will it screw up??
The year 2015 aircraft.cfg is telling me there are 4 passengers in plane while the year 2011 aircraft.cfg is telling me there are 48 passengers. Year 2015 has six station loads and year 2011 has five station loads.
[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] max_gross_weight = 116.000 // (pounds) empty_weight = 61500 // 71500 // 61500 // (pounds)
reference_datum_position = 0.0, 0, 0 // (feet) distance from FlightSim Reference position: (1/4 chord, centerline, waterline) empty_weight_CG_position = 6.0, 0, 0 // (feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from specified datum
max_number_of_stations = 50
station_load.0 = "170, 5.0, -2.0, 0.0, Piloto" //Weight (lbs), longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet) station_load.1 = "170, 5.0, 2.0, 0.0, Copiloto" //Weight (lbs), longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet) station_load.2 = "170, -2.1, -2.0, 0.0, Pasajeros" //Weight (lbs), longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet) station_load.3 = "170, -2.1, 2.0, 0.0, Pasajeros" //Weight (lbs), longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet) station_load.4 = "170, -5.3, -2.0, 0.0, Pasajeros" //Weight (lbs), longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet) station_load.5 = "170, -5.3, 2.0, 0.0, Pasajeros"
max_gross_weight=116000 empty_weight = 61300 //typical with two extra lavatories, and an extra crew position for a navigator.
station_load.0= "1400, 0,0,0, 7 Crew + Bags " ;L188C has a navigator station_load.1= "4080, 30,0,0, 24 Pax " ;@ 170 lbs station_load.2= "4080,-30,0,0, 24 Pax " ;@ 170 lbs station_load.3= " 720, 15,0,0, Fwd Bags&Cargo" ; @ 30 lbs per pax station_load.4= " 720,-15,0,0, Aft Bags&Cargo" ; @ 30 lbs per pax
Also, their fuel loads are far different.
Would it be good idea to copy everything from year 2011 FS Aviator aircraft.cfg and paste into year 2015 Guzman aircraft.cfg???
Regards,
Aharon

You could certainly try it, just back up both copies first.
