Hi all, Now that I've finished the web site edits to point most of the links to flightsim.com, I have zipped up the web site for those that want to keep a backup copy for themselves. NOTE: As long as this site (or a designated successor site) is active, these files are not to be uploaded anywhere else, nor is the web site to be put onto the internet. These are for private use only. More details in the text files. The web site itself (20 MB): See the last post below for the latest link. The files that I do not have permission to upload to flightsim.com (50 MB): www.calclassic.com/Temp/CalClassic_Files.zipHope this helps,

Looks like I had missed some files, the new version of the Classic Files zip is 75 MB. Use the same link above. This is the final version, I promise! No changes to the Classic Site zip.
Sorry about that,

Hi,
First update to the Classic Site backup file (adding Bermuda Kindley scenery). Probably no need to get every update unless you really want to be complete.

Hi Tom!
At first, thank you, and all other CalClassic developers, very much for creating of all this sceneries, aircraft, AI traffic and so on! This is really titanic work, of course! Now, with all Classic Sceneries, traffic and aircraft been installed, I certainly will not shift from FS9 to some other Sim.
But I still can't get one of the sceneries: 'FS2004 Pennsylvania Airports Vol. 1 1958-1960' which is located at the Google, and download link there seems to be dead. Is it possible to fix it or to relocate this scenery to flightsim.com?
Thank you in advance! Dan.

I just tried the download and it worked fine. Click the link, get the page displayed, and click the Dowload link in the upper right area (down arrow).
You might need to sign up with Google first??? I already am.

Nope, when I try to gain this file by my Google account it responds: 'access [to this file] denied'. Sad, but I will try later, maybe it will be more successful.

Just tried it myself and was told I need a Google account, which I don't have. Not for personal use, anyway. I think I still have an old account I used to have at one of my jobs, but that's been gone for AGES now.
I'll check if there's another place to find it like Flightsim.
I'll also check to see if I have it in my backup drive somewhere and let you know since it seems a familiar file. I just don't remember the google thing, so it may be another scenery I'm thinking of that I have. Maybe Illinois?

Edit: Just checked my backups and it was right there under the US/PA folder for scenery. I have a file called "Classic Pennsylvania Vol.zip" which has a readme dated 3/16/2016 in it. There are 10 airports to include Scranton, Erie, and a few others. Let me know if this is it.

Nope, when I try to gain this file by my Google account it responds: 'access [to this file] denied'. Sad, but I will try later, maybe it will be more successful. Same here. Google says the owner of the file needs to grant permission to the account of who wants to download it. I suspect this wasn't the case at the time of uploading, as this is obviously very impractical. I could always try to re-upload if the author has no objections or restrictions.
No access to Flightsim dot com anymore, so if I'm allowed to re-upload the file it will probably be over at SOH. I'm leaving what's over at Flightsim alone, though. I'm just not adding any more myself. I don't have any objections if people "update" my stuff and then want to post it over there, I'm just not going to waste what little time I have learning how to navigate that mess.
I guess I could always e-mail you folks the thing in pieces as an option?
I actually have a zip I did for myself where I placed all the airports and textures in just one "main" folder using the notes from the original author's readme. That way I just have to activate the single folder and have all of PA active.
Well, minus Pittsburgh and Philly, that is. Those are still in their own folders.
Hopefully the author has an e-mail in the readme. I have to check.
If I'm allowed to re-post the file let me know if you would prefer the "re-packaged" version I have for myself, the original, or the e-mails.
Regards,
Jorge Miami, FL
PS: Yes, this means I have no more access to CC files since everything is at the "new" website. At least I have almost all the files from before, so I'm lucky. Just not the stuff from about mid-2021 or so until now. Might be a Win-7 thing on my end, but who knows anymore.

Hi Jorge,
Our kindest Tom already shared Pennsylvania with me, so I happy now. Thank you Tom once again!
As for the Flightsim site, I'm too couldn't download anything from there since they made their famous... hmm... 'update'. So I had buried into their forum and found there some British man who was encountered himself right in the face of that same problem: unable to downloading anything from there. And he was solved this issue by using the VPN. So did I - just added VPN plugin into the Firefox. And it works: download ability restored for me.
I think that some sort of VPN presents in many modern browsers, at least in the Opera and Firefox certainly. Maybe it would be useful with that Flightsim's issue.
Regards, Dan

Tom sent me the file as well and as far as distribution goes, the readme only prohibits "uploading to any site that charges for downloads". I will try and upload it to FlightSim, and if that works perhaps the link on the CC page could be adapted for easier access. The more classic flyers can enjoy J. Czarnecki's work and Al's testing, the better.
