In November 1948, Continental Can Company acquired the former Consolidated Vultee prototype LB-30. It was used to shuttle parts and executives between factories all over the States. Continental Can Company (CCC) was a producer of metal containers and packaging company based in Stamford, Connecticut. The aircraft was registered as N1503 and outfitted with sleeping berths and reclining chairs to transport executives from its hometown of Morristown NJ. It remained in duty of Continental Can until 1959. Some days ago, Simviation released this Alphasim Liberator Express model done by Jim Nelson an our friend Jaap de Baare. Bernard

I always thought it was an ungainly looking aircraft, but an interesting one. However, sitting in a bomb bay would make me uneasy, even knowing it was sealed shut.
