Recently I came across of the scenery "Greenwood Lake Airport 4N1" done by the late John B. Loney. I was particulary intrigued by following description of the file: This update adds the 'New Jersey Connie' at Greenwood Lake ( 4N1). The Connie came there in 1946 or 47. Since then, it's been waiting for restoration. Over the years it's been slated for a pilot's lounge, a resturant and a flight School Office.
The advice that the Connie came there in the Forties made me rather perplex. Therefore I wanted to know more about the story and found this quite interesting article which might be also worth reading for some of you. www.greenwoodlakeairport.com/airport-history/Finally the "life" of the 'Greenwood Lake Connie' turns out to be far more complexe. But at least John's scenery could animate to learn more about this particular airliner. A posthumous thanks. I slightly adapted the scenery and replaced the modeled aircraft by a static one. Not perfectly accurate, I have to admit. Bernard
