I have both FS2004 and FSX on my system. I much prefer FS2004 over FSX but there are some detailed aircraft for FSX I like to fly that are not available on FS2004.
Is there any way to make the Wings of Silver B-377 or any other aircraft made for FSX work in FS2004? I see some aircraft can be worked with both sims so forward compatibilty can be arranged. What about backward capability?

As far as I know, many FS9 aircraft can be made FSX compatible, but aircraft designed for FSX cannot be made FS9 compatible.

Hi,
That is correct. That said, there are many "FSX" aircraft out there that were created using the FS9 makemdl.exe program and will load into FS9 as well as FSX. You just have to try it. If it has ANY FSX-only features (bump maps, VC glass reflections, etc.) then it will not work in FS9.
Hope this helps,
