We continue the delivery flight to Sint Maarten. After leaving Phoenix, we find ourselves over Truth or Consequences in New Mexico, clearly the most peculiar VOR / airfield / town-name ever heard of ! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_or_Consequences,_New_Mexico explains it all... This is the famous Roswell... no UFO's this time, we have identified ourselves. Later that afternoon, we are taxiing out at Dallas-fort Worth, Texas. Destination is New Orleans. At 12.000 ft. over the Sabine river and Toledo Bend reservoir, the border of Texas and Louisiana. Evening IFR-arrival for New Orleans. Looking for an overnight-place at the cargo-ramp. to be continued.....

Beautiful trip. You passed almost directly over my house. I live 35 miles due west of Toledo Bend. Lake Sam Rayburn is the large lake off to your right . Airways V-12 lies about one mile north of my house.

How dare you soil your Connie by flying into that monstrosity of DFW... Seriously, should have used Love Field or Meacham, historic haunts for the old girl. Would have been neat to see the arrival coming in past downtown.

Jesse, now I know where you live, next time I make a low 360 overhead!! Hope your window insurance is ok? and capflyer: Yes you're right, but we had to visit DFW, since some hot-shot fuel sponsors insisted us to... What can I do? cheers PP.
