On our way to Fort Lauderdale International, KFLL. The turn over Sebring airfield. Crossing Lake Okeechobee, setting course for Belle Glade on the other side. Thirty-six pounding pistons (72 spark plugs!!) over Florida. On the other wing usually the same. 2000 feet and (sort of) established on the ILS 09L of Ft. Lauderdale. Gracefully gliding in. That Southwest crew 's sitting first row. Parking the lady with outboard engines cut for fuel (and brake!) saving. Parked next to another 'classic' freighter, although one generation younger.
