Some years back, a MATS Connie was in the San Francisco Bay Area, (this one?) I heard it flying around about four times and by the time I could stop the car or get out of the house all I saw were those three rudders going away from me. Never will forget the sound.

A great video of the old girl. The narration is basically a brief description of the Connie history and her place in aviation over all. Then once you see the interior shots with passengers a bit on the Stewardess of the day. One of the funnier lines saying that these young and beautiful ladies wore a perfume that was both light and meshed well with the fragrance of AvGas and engine oil that was present in those airplanes. Finally a few comments on the crew flying the Connie and the fact that only a handful of pilots remain that are certified to fly the Lockheed Constellation...fewer than astronauts.
