Here's the latest previews I have of Baltimore Friendship 1957. The beta version went out to the testers tonight. Hopefully this will be done soon...as I'm pretty well tired of it! ;D Here's a general overview looking across the United ramp toward the main terminal. Not all the ground service equipment may make the final cut. Framerates! A view across the Eastern ramp toward the main terminal. I'm a big fan of Old Glory. I hope I made her proud. She flies during the day (regardless of wind conditions ;D) and is lit at night. Here's some of the GSE I made for this scenery. This is most of the Eastern equipment. Much of this is not prototypical in design or paint. But I think it conveys the right feel. This is all of the Capital GSE grouped together around an English lady. Included, you'll find: baggage carts, a small tug, a general use pick-up truck, a maintenance/catering van, a potable water service truck, two ground power units, and a fuel truck. Thanks for everyone's help! I couldn't have done it alone. Al

Al, looks great; thanks for adding another great airfield to the east coast collection. Are you still plugging away at MIA?

BWI is almost done. I just got back from a 4-day trip, and had some valuable feedback from my beta testers waiting. A few more exclusions, some corrections, tie up a few loose ends, and it'll be done. Hopefully tonight.
I haven't touched MIA for a few weeks. I'm really going to have to strip the terminal and completely retexture to make it work with usable framerates. But it's still there, and will be released sometime!
I'm also in the data collection stages for TPA and PIT. SRQ's (Sarasota) AFCAD and basic scenery/landclass is done. I just need to finish the structures.
I've also been working on some other items for general release, to include: late 1950s and early 1960s automobiles and trucks, railroad locomotives and rolling stock, and airport ramp service equipment. I'll make everything available freely so others can use it.

Al, to use a Navy term; "Well Done". I lived in Baltimore suburbs for 20 years and I remember old Friendship Airport fondly. I spent many an hour out on the observation deck watching the traffic coming and going. It is no longer availabe to the public and that is a shame. We have lost a part of our American Heritage.

Also, liked your hand baggage carts, they will really add to the decor.

Al, great work.
the building and texture in the shots look very authentic, and the vehicles take the cake. sketchup must agree with you. PIT will be a treat.

OK.....that does it. I have so far stuck with a single FS9 install set in modern times but of course with plenty vintage props hanging on to life in the airshow and cargo circuit. But with this and MIA scenery I have decided that I have to break down and make the leap back in time Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do a multi FS9 installation (W7 if it matters) so that I can hopefully avoid wrecking my current day simulation. My suggestion is the one I use with VISTA. Put a second sim dedicated to the Cal Classics time frame. All your scenery, retro aircraft & traffic reside there, and do not interfere with your modern setup. There are a number of tutorials on how to, but it is easy, and eliminates a lot of turning off and on scenery.
