Did they in the connies allso have different classes like we have on our planes these days? If so, how did they look? If i understood some scources right they had like a sort of mini bar in the planes that did the very long flights? If so, maybe someone has pictures of those, i am quite curious how that looked.

They certainly had. I remember seeing some plans in some timetables, but I haven't located one for a Connie yet - I have for a Starliner, though, from a 1958 Lufthansa timetable. Here's the link: www.timetableimages.com/ttimages/complete/lh58/lh58-13.jpgIt appears Lufthansa used two configurations on its Starliners, one with a Tourist, Economy and a First Deluxe Class (respectively 15, 59 and 8 seats); and another one with Tourist and First Class seating (respectively 44 and 20 seats). I'll try and find some Connie lay-outs as well.

Oh thank you so much. Fun to see that the first (deluxe) class is actualy in the back of the plane instead of in the front like it is nowadays. And power(wash)rooms and toilets. Quite amazing what they seem to manage to fit in there. Thanks for that link What is lower ranking btw? tourist or economy class?
