G'Day All
This may be old news by now, but I read this morning that several 60 plus year old propliners ( DC-4, 6, and even an HU-16) had taken part in the earthquake relief airlift to Haiti. This got me thinking, (I know, a slow process) Why don't you blokes dob in a couple of bucks to the relief appeal and then load up your favorite cargo hauler, head to Miami and fly your virtual cargo to where it's needed? We could have some screen shots from those who know how and if you add the transit time to Miami, a good few hours flying away from our usual routine. I hope this dosn't sound like someone half a world away having fun at some one else's expense but I feel that in a small way it would pay tribute to those men and their "Magnificent Flying Machines" doing this vital work. It stirs the blood to see these Dinosaurs still doing what they were designed to do and as Tom says, "Jets are for Kids".
Thanks, Trev (vhbob)
