Just got it mounted and operating, but, following the instructions from the Manager (I think), have the following problem: Can't engage the mixture or prop levers. I can change the button assignments, but not the levers. Any ideas? thanks, lr.

Hi,
I don't know - for my regular CH Yoke I just used FS9 to assign things.

Hi Lou, Got you covered! Just install the control manager and go through the setup steps in order. When you get to the point where you've checked to see if all your buttons and axis work, you'll need to save that profile. When you generate the profile, look for the checkbox that will automatically load the manager with your new profile. Now your standard assignment window should find the prop and mixture axis in FS9. What you don't see, and no one tells you, is that in the sensitivities window, the axis for those 2 levers will have considerable loss of sensitivity and a null zone added by default. It will also have the prop lever allready set to the rudder, whether or not you already have pedals! You'll need to take sensitivity on prop and mix to max and erase the null zone in the sensitivities window to get them to work correctly. No adjustments to pedals should be necessary. Just to be clearer, let me rephrase that on sensitivities, once prop and mixture levers are assigned to the correct axis, make sure the sensitivity settings for each of those match the settings for the throttle axis. They'll all 3 be right there together on the page, though you have to scroll down to see them! It's a pain to work through it the first time, but you shouldn't need to do it again unless your fs9.cfg gets corrupted and you have to reinstall FS9. By the way, DO read the manual. There is a small section in there that shows you how to write a batch file that will launch the manager automatically when you launch FS. That can come in handy if you program the "new" buttons for different "Modes" in other aircraft. If you aren't going to use the mode knob to change profiles, you shouldn't need to launch the manager to fly. One other point, the trim wheels! They are really bottons, not wheels....so you need to set those wheels (buttons) up in the assignments widow, too. I use them for rudder and elevator trim. To me, it was worth the extra cost just for those! ;D That should be it.

Oaky, it wasn't Manager, sorry. I downloaded a page from their website on how to configure varioue options using the FS configuration, assignments page. I don't have the Manager. Everyhting is assigned okay (including prop) except for the mixture. What do you suggest? lr.

Hi, I'm not sure what's up there. I don't know if it will all work without the CH Manager or not. I never tried never installing it. Anyway, double check assignments and make sure "Mixture" is assigned to "X Rotation" in the FS9 assignments. Then close assignments and open Sensitivities/Advanced properties and double check that the sliders for sensitivites are full right, and sliders for null zone are full left. (off/none) You will have to grab the scroll bar to scroll down to see those slider settings! Only 3 are visible at a time. For me, everything lasted for 5 years, til I had to wipe my drives and start over. Then I totally forgot about those sliders and was scratching my head again...but finally remembered. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you. Yours,
