Ive really been enjoying this great DH104 Dove from Derek Palmer and Classic British Flight Sims. its a great work. I ran across some photos of an updated (modern) panel for the dove online and thought I would take my shot at recreating it. It has a number of payware gauges embedded from various airplanes such as Carenado etc., so doubtful I will distribute. Having said that, I will seek permissions from the various authors of the original airplane before any distribution of any kind. Heres the original image from the web. Heres the basic panel with redone backpanel and panel shield as well as revised gauges such as my RXP Flightline T gauges. Popups of the GNS 530 and 430 GPS units as well as autopilot and Transponders etc. Pop up steam RXP FLT steam gauges To make this panel work, as is, you'd need RXP GNS 530 and 430 Professional (to make them cross fill), RXP Flightline T gauges, Carenado Centurion for certain gauges, as well as one or two gauges I'll have to figure out where they came from. This panel isn't finished as there is still some work to do on back lighting etc. The bitmap itself would work with the default panel however there are some gauge shadows painted into the panel to support the HSI etc that wouldnt match the default gauge set. This panel is actually the one that is in the Battle of Britain memorial flight DH104 Devon registered as G-DHDV / VP981 (cn 04205). It was built in 1946 and is operated by Air Atlantique of Coventry, UK.
Just such a nice airplane. Derek Palmer and the team did a great job.
