Hello, I could persuade Al Courtney to make a scenery of Atlanta Municipal Airport. He will make it after is current projects (Pittsburgh, Miami and Tampa). But now I´m looking for pictures of this important airport at the east coast. At the moment I found this: www.sunshineskies.net/49life.htmlwww.sunshineskies.net/56life.htmlI think they are a good start but like Al said it: Every pic is useful, even with a aircraft on it. The building in the background can be important. If you have some pics between 1945 and 1959, they will be useful. Greetings Christopher

Interesting set of pictures on those two links. I think this composite www.sunshineskies.net/atl194909.html is quite amazing, clearly showing how the 1948 airport relates to the current one.

What a fabulous group of photographs. Certainly made the heart beat a little faster. I've bookmarked them.

ozbeowolf suggested that we not fail to explore the parent website of the above posts. It's a great site with many old pictures that would be useful to modelers, scenery artists and enthusiasts alike. www.sunshineskies.net/ Happy Easter y'al
