Hi there,
I didn't know from where the failure was but this occurs this afternoon as I want to carry on from my last saved game position with the SuperG.
I was saved the flight last weekend with my "flight configuration" of window arrangement with VC as actually view:
- 2D: FE Panel (with "Lower FE Panel" activated) - VC: Virtual Cockpit - Tower: Tower View - Chase: Chase Vew
(I have one button of my joystick set for switching this views forward to quickly step through the views.)
As I reloaded the flight the virtual cockpit was active. Than I switched to the 2D view and found there was the "Lower FE Panel" in view in front of the 2D cockpit. So I switched to FE Panel but there it was impossible to get the "Lower FE panel" in view.
When I picked up the FE Panel with mouse and moved it in upper direction, the 2D cockpit view was comming in view - and the "Lower FE Panel" which was layered between the FE panel and the 2D Cockpit. It was possible to switch the "Lower FE Panel" on and off by semicon, but it was not possible to get the "Lower FE Panel" layered above the FE Panel.
I don't know how this happens but I must quit this saved flight and restarting with a new flight. I was saving several flights in this way but this was the first time noticed this layer problem. I tryied some other saved games and there the windows are still ok.
Any ideas?
Greetings Haddock

I occasionally get this with certain saved flights, especially when the panel.cfg file has been updated in the interim after saving the flight. Delete the flight and create another.
Hope this helps,

What Tom said .... I think i did have this once myself in FS9 with the G and more often with the L-749 in FSX during build testing. But I don't have a workaround that would retain your current flight. Stefan

Sometimes you can redo a given flight by:
1. Loading the flight. 2. Reloading the plane. 3. Resaving the flight.
Hope this helps,
