While not strictly old school propliner fare, this EP-3 released today from the KBT team is very, very nice! I downloaded it this evening from Avsim. A very nice Lockheed EP-3E of the US Navy. This was the kind of bird that collided with the Chinese fighter a couple of years ago and miraculously was able to land and be recovered later. They hang a BUNCH of junk off this air frame in terms of antennae, etc! This model features the typical lockheed nice roomy cockpit. VC is well done for a freeware bird. Overhead panel isnt completely functional but looks good though. Nice modernized P-3 Panel. Nice VC red light night lighting! You can fly without the panel lights on and the backlit gauges make a nice night flight as well. Well worth the download IMHO. There are also some options on engine smoke settings etc that I havent fooled around with yet. Eric

I didn't know that KBT was releasing a new EP-3. WOW. I do love their planes. I think they first did the EP-3 around 2005. And they are also have a great selection of P-3 which are all great as well. They also made the fire bomber variants and the one with the large radome and the weather variant. I have them all and really enjoy flying them. They also just did a L-188 for FSX. Check out their website for more. Have fun with the EP-3.

Think it's a reupload (due to avsim/s crash) of there 2005 model, incl. the fix which was released soon after. Files seems to be the same as the 2005 version available at www.flightsim.comStill a great model though! Marcel

The aircraft is from VQ-1 Atsugi Japan, at that time.
