Well...I THINK I have some of this stuff figured out. I tried out the C-124 flight from yesterday and all SEEMS to work fine but I need a live body to test Teamspeak with. Anybody up for meeting me sometime today at Yakota AB for a little OJT?
Thanks,
George

Hi Tom,
I was able to catch up with some guys who were flying and got the teamspeak set to where I think it's OK. One problem I'm having is being able to log onto Kenny's server when other folks are on there. From what I've read that looks like a port forwarding problem but I have all the ports properly forwarded but still no dice. I even put my computer in the DMZ in my router to test that and that didn't work either. If I'm in by myself it logs right on.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
George

I don't know much about routers, ports, etc. Hopefully Kenny (or ?) can step in and figure something out?

Hi, George, I assume you've resolved the issue, since you were able to join in with Bill's Sunday afternoon flight today? It was a pleasure to hear you today! ...and now we just have to figure out why Davethemac is having problems with a mic. Yours,

Good talking to you too Randy. And thanks for letting me piggy back your session to get teamspeak figured out. The rest of my problems was being caused by ZoneAlarm. I disabled ZA and, poof, instant login.
One other small issue I'm having is when I put Kenny's server IP in the multiplayer search box in FS9, I always see the 24 hour server but have seen the session server show up only once. Is this still a problem on my end?
Thanks guys for the help.
George

When that happens to me, all I need to do is click the Search button, then both show up. Try it.
Hope this helps,

It took a half dozen or so clicks, but it eventually showed up. Looks like I'm ready to rock 'n roll.
Thanks,
George

Hi, Yes, when you click that Search button, the results are NOT instant. It often takes a few seconds. Also, if you want the Session server every time, just change your Port setting in your Multiplayer/Options/Settings window to "23459". ...but the default "23456" or modified to "23457" will usually get you both.
