I've been bitten by the painting bug again. This time the victim is the DC-6. I painted all of these this evening in one big batch. 1) Wardair Canada 1980's livery. Hey, I just wanted to see what it would look like! I think it looks kinda nice. Its hard to go wrong with such a sharp looking livery though. 2) Pacific Western 1970's livery. Again, I wanted to see what it would look like in the blue livery. It needs a little tweaking, but I think I'll keep this one. 3) Worldways Canada. Same deal as the previous two. 4) Northeast "Yellowbird." I have some tweaking to do on this one. I think I may also paint the nacelles yellow. What do you think? Should I? 5) The Hawaii Express. Such a colourful livery, I just couldn't resist. I have to tweak the flag on this one. 6) Here's where it gets weird... USAir 1981 livery. I bet you didn't see that one coming! Comments welcome!

I like them all! But I've always been a fan of "fantasy" schemes.
As for the Yellowbird, I think the nacelles are fine as they are. But painting them yellow would be nice also. I'm not sure which would be more prototypical for a propliner.
