As Tom said in his post, Kabul is considered an often forgotten destination. That's exactly why this place and its larger surroundings fascinate me. Maybe also because FS9 still shows the country as still peaceful world. That's why I revamped simply some airfields that are served by 1962 traffic. A kind of further estimation of Juan's Kabul scenery. Kunduz OAUZ Kandahar OAKN Bagram OAIX This is a third party scenery. I added their some Mig-17 which also where used by the Royal Afghan Air Force. Bernard

So will you make these available along with instructions on getting the third party pieces? This all looks very nicely done Bernard.

Hi! indeed most of Afghanistan airports on the default FS are peacefully empty, no ramp, no parking spots, just the runway... Nice to see those pics Bernard best!

Let me say: No Kabul, no rest! it's just simple as that.

In 1961 Ariana timetable it's specified that on the flights 201 and 202 (scheduled in CalClassic 1962 traffic) to and from Frankfurt "on request special stops will be made to embark and disembark cargo at Munich, Zurich, Istanbul, Athens, Amman and Baghdad". So the DC-6B could have be seen at those unusal places and certainly disturbed rather the official schedules: here by daylight at Amman OAJM Baghdad West Z15M or Munich Riem EDMR Bernard
