Excellent repaint Frank ! She looks beautiful I have done some remodeling on the Fokker F27. This is the F27-300. I have not added the large cargo door as a real door but it will be in the texture. The small crew door in the cargo door operates correctly - it opens to the outside and forward. The passenger door in the rear was the same as on the -200 but the military variant had a larger door on both sides in the rear. This to accomodate para-troopers. I am also going to make that type: the F27-300M So that's not done yet here on these screen prints. PS. Frank: If you lighten the alpha channel in the "glass" texture file that should darken the glass PS.2 Andre, yes there will also be a Fokker F27 with square tipped prop blades Cheers, Jaap

Its not intuitive on the glass texture alpha.....if you make it almost white it becomes more opaque.

Oh, that's funny Because it's a copy of those in the F-27 and FH-227. I'll have a look at it. Keep you posted Jaap

I re-textured the cockpit windows of the F27. Now it can be handled better if you want to change the opaqueness. Just switch the mdl file with this one: www.mediafire.com/file/2n5ka96sptfiu8w/f27-200.mdl and you're done. Frank - great looking repaints of the Fairchild and Fokker ! Regards, Jaap

WOW! I HAVE to have those NE colors! Those are BEAUTIFUL, Frank. I can't tell you how mant Yellowbirds I flew between New York and Miami. That was the way to fly for low $$ back in the early '70's. Those are great!! Add that one to my list, Frank! Can you help me carry them out to the car? LOL! Thanks for the big smile!!

Frank, Something that has to do with another ship than the Friendship On the very first screen shot of this topic (page 1) you show the Aloha Fairchild flying over sea. But down on the ocean there is a classic liner going full speed ahead.... Looking at the model and the colors of the funnel it looks very much like the Italian vessel "Cristoforo Colombo" which was the sister ship of the unfortunate "Andrea Doria". I remember as a child in the 50's we sailed on the Cristoforo Colombo from Venezuela to Genoa Italy, and from there we went on to Holland by train. Is it indeed one of those magnificent ships or is the resemblance just a coincidence ? Cheers, Jaap

F27-300 model. I have been doing some work on the -300 model and it is ready for uploading. One model with round prop tips and the same model with squared prop tips. Just add the models to the planes folder and adjust the aircraft config for the correct model (round tips or square tips) Hope you like them. Download link: www.mediafire.com/file/qk4h0b2x25vfqbi/F27-300%20models.zipI am also working on a PhotoShop paint kit. As soon as it's ready I'll give an upload link for that too. Cheers, Jaap

Second that! Nice work Jaap. I guess given all the updates to the fairchild and fokker versions I am going need to step forward a couple of years and start taking this bird out of a spin. I spend way to much time in 57!
