The FH-227 and Mk500 reference elements in the F-27A's folder. If these elements, stored in "F-27_Native" are not present, then FSX will not show them. No panel, no gauges, no textures, no sound. So in order to have the Mk500 and FH-227 show up, you have to have "F27_Native" in "SimObjects\Airplanes". Do not change the folder name or you will break the file references! Put all three folders ("F27_Native","F27_Mk500","F27_FH227") from my download into "SimObjects\Airplanes". Launch FSX. Load the FH-227 and see if the textures show up. If they do, great. Exit FSX. Next step. Go to "SimObjects\Airplanes\BB Fokker-27", copy the "sound" folder and paste it into "SimObjects\Airplanes\F27_Native". If asked to overwrite, say "Yes". Launch FSX again, select the Mk.500 or FH-227 and start the engines with CTRL+E. If you're hearing sound, great. Exit FSX. Next step. Go to "SimObjects\Airplanes\BB Fokker-27", copy the "panel" folder and paste it into "SimObjects\Airplanes\F27_Native". Windows will ask you to confirm the folder replace. Click "Yes". Windows will tell you that there is already some file with the same name. Click "Don't Copy"!! When Windows asks you again to confirm a folder replacement, click "Yes", when it asks you to overwrite a file, click "Don't Copy". Repeat this until the files are copied over. Start FSX. Select the Mk500 or FH-227. Check if you have a working panel and VC. If you do, the installation is done. If you don't, do it again.
I can't make it any clearer than this.

Bjoern, tried your steps four times to the letter each time, even redownloaded and tried again and no matter what the FH-227 and Mk500 will not show, your F-27 will, but not the other two, any ideas ?

Oh come on man, you're killing me!
I'm in the process of preparing the next release. I've tried to rewrite the instructions, but the different file and folder layout of the CC and Bernie's releases just doesn't make for an easy, stright path. The consequence is that the release will be all in one (all required files in a single package). The result is nothing more than two simple steps.

Sorry, sure don't mean to be a pain, I've downloaded and installed plenty of planes and scenery, and never came across something like this, especially since the files are seemingly as they should be for a good install, very puzzling, anyway look forward to your next updated release Bjoern, thanks for trying to make the install easy as possible.

Yes, Bjoern, take a deep breath, and consider the possibility that even following your instructions, something else may be wrong.

Hey, be nice. I am nice. Yes, Bjoern, take a deep breath, and consider the possibility that even following your instructions, something else may be wrong. Writing instructions is no walk in the park, writing even more detailed instructions takes a bit of time as well. And if it still doesn't work, I will automatically assume that it's my fault.

On exam later and life looks a bit brighter. Could also be the enormous amount of coffee and green tea I've ingested to stay awake.
I sadly have to re-adjust the texture mapping on the Mk500 before I can finish a paint for it and stuff the whole bag of polies and pixels onto Google Drive.
In general, don't repaint the FH-227 and Mk500 until the next revision as the nose gear doors are mapped independently of the fuselage now (like on the Mk200/F-27A). Stupid fleet numbers...

No, not at all. Spent free day #1 setting up a VFR flight, spent free day #2 flying 3/4ths of said flight and now I'm back to studying.

Just one question for FS2004 model. I'm flying the Fairchild and Fokker with the latest model uploaded at Flightsim.com. It follows localizer correctly but when flying VOR mode. It doesn't follow correct course. It's heading always goes 20 degrees right from the actual course and it's stuck their. It doesn't follow VOR. Anyone have samem problem? Or is it my control error?
Regards, Dennis

Sounds like you might have a magvar problem? Can you check that your heading on the RMI dial and the heading listed in the red numbers on the screen (Shift Z) are the same?

Uploading the new revision right now, but Google Drive seems to be REALLY slow tonight, so the file might not be available for another one or two hours. You can still try though. If you end up with a 90+ MB .zip file, you've got the latest revision okay. drive.google.com/file/d/0B6K_xiE2GqmMUnZ2VzVkbFZaOU0/edit?usp=sharingChangelog: 2014/09/26 FH-227: Fixed see-through engine intakes, improved fuselage mapping by 15.2%, remapped nose gear doors, improved paint kit, removed blank paint, added Britt Airways paint Mk500: Improved fuselage mapping by 15.2%, remapped nose gear doors, improved paint kit, removed blank paint, added Mesaba Airlines paint Mk200/F27A: Fixed beacon color, fixed beacon location, fixed contact points for main wheels, fixed location for the white tail light, added painted wingroots to Britt and Hughes paints All models: Added high pressure fuel thingy system, added prop pitch control by throttle, fixed weather radar image on radio panel, added second possibility to show FO in the VC, moved wing upward again, periphery models (e.g. chocks) now compensate for aircraft weight, deleted all blank paints save for one Organisation: Simplified the installation by 475%, updated this documentUpgrade: 1. Back up any custom paints you might have installed for the model somewhere safe 2. Delete "F27_Native", "F27_Mk500" and "F27_FH227" from "SimObjects\Airplanes" 3. Copy "F27_Native", "F27_Mk500" and "F27_FH227" from the download into "SimObjects\Airplanes" 4. Reinstall any custom paints again And RTFM! Especially for the "pitch-throttle" system!

TOM// Yes, Both are same heading numbers. It follows the LOC/ILS correctly but I don't know why it doesn't follow VORs.
